Uu-! Hi everyone..! Today Maria and Beato have a question for everyone!

[ Maria is practically as cheery as ever when she waves at the camera - except she's not alone right now, there's someone sitting there with her, and she turns to that person with a smile as if urging her to speak on.

Beato waves too, as excited about this as ~~HER TINY ONEESAN~~ Maria. ]

We thought of this some days ago, while watching the people in the tea house. You all come from very diferent places, are we wrong? I can only imagine how many wonderful stories you all have!

And so we want to hear e-verything about you and your world! [ she's just fistpumping here now, look at all this double excitement. ] Uu-, so everyone, please tell us your stories, okay? Beato and Maria re-ally want to know!

A story, huh? I think I can manage that.

[It takes her a few minutes to decide on a story, but once she does, Rinoa launches into it without any more delay.]

Once, not so long ago in a land far away, there was a girl who was desperately searching for help. You see she was the member of a group of rebels who were fighting for the freedom of their city from an oppressive government that didn't care about the people they ruled over. So to find help, she attend a special ball held in honor of people who would help almost anyone, if the price was right. And while she was at this ball, she met the handsomest guy she'd ever seen in her life.

[This story is way better than that boring one about Hyne and how he tricked the world/sorceresses got their magic. Yes, yes indeed.]

Uu-, most handsome guy..? What did he look like, was he really that pretty? Maria wants to know..!

She certainly thought so. This stranger was tall and looked very dashing in his formal uniform. He had brown hair with just a bit of red in it and some of the prettiest blue eyes she'd ever seen. Most surprising of all was the scar that ran across his nose, just like this.

[She traces a path across her nose with one finger.]

Somehow it actually made him look even more rugged and appealing. She's not really sure how, it just did. He was leaning against a wall, looking very brooding and tough. She might not have approached him at all, but they managed to form a bond before they'd even met.

[That's her story and she's sticking to it darn it.]

You see, in the middle of all that hustle and bustle? There was a single shooting star visible in the night sky and they both saw it. Since he'd noticed something so small, she decided that she just had to talk to him. So she did.

Since they both saw a shooting star.. Uu-, that's so nice..! Maria heard that shooting stars grant wishes, so maybe they granted the wish for the two of them to be together, right?

Somehow I don't think that's what was wished for, but maybe the star knew better. You see after they shared an unforgettable dance together, she finished her business there and then left. She honestly thought she'd never see him again.

[She could drag this out, but she won't.]

But maybe that star had a different idea in mind, almost before she knew it he walked right back into her life again.

[ Wasn't what she wishes for..? Maria blinks curiously at that, but she doesn't ask. ]

So the two of them came back together because of the star?

Well... maybe not exactly, but it's certainly nice to think that way. Don't you think?

[Squall would laugh at her if she ever mentioned it, but Rinoa certainly likes her fanciful ideas sometimes.]

Of course it's nice to think that way..! Uu-, Maria thinks stars can really fulfill wishes as long as you believe in it!

I think you're right.

[She'll have to try again next time she sees a shooting star.]

Have you seen any since you've been here?

Maria's hasn't yet, uu-! [ But it does make her think, really.. ]

Do you think Maria should go watch the stars at night and try to find one? Then Maria could make a wish..!

Maybe we both should. Then we could let each other know if we ever saw one.

[Do they even have shooting stars here? Rinoa's not sure.]

It's a promise..! If Maria sees any shooting star at all she'll tell for sure, okay?

Oh... is this a story about love? I like those stories!

I'm not really sure, it's not a story that has an ending yet. I hope it is.

[She's not even going to hide the fact that she's talking about her own life, which is a good thing. Rinoa's a terrible liar.]
