Uu-! Hi everyone..! Today Maria and Beato have a question for everyone!

[ Maria is practically as cheery as ever when she waves at the camera - except she's not alone right now, there's someone sitting there with her, and she turns to that person with a smile as if urging her to speak on.

Beato waves too, as excited about this as ~~HER TINY ONEESAN~~ Maria. ]

We thought of this some days ago, while watching the people in the tea house. You all come from very diferent places, are we wrong? I can only imagine how many wonderful stories you all have!

And so we want to hear e-verything about you and your world! [ she's just fistpumping here now, look at all this double excitement. ] Uu-, so everyone, please tell us your stories, okay? Beato and Maria re-ally want to know!

I like stories. What kinda stories y'want?

Uu-! How about a story about the city you come from..?

I come from this big city called Gotham. Real fun, most a' the time.

[It's easy when you ignore little things like ownership and property laws.]

Like one time, there was all these old guys bein' all snobby and rich, so me and my friend Ivy pranked 'em real good with these special plants she'd made.

Kyakyakya, you played a prank on them..? Maria thinks pranks can be re-ally funny, and then everyone can laugh about them afterwards, right?

I know! Pranks're the best, but a lot of people back home didn't get th' joke.

[She has a fairly self-satisfied grin.]

But me an' my friends did our best to teach 'em.

[ Maria doesn't understand the implications, really, so she's just as cheery as usual.. ]

Uu-, and did they learn in the end since you taught them..?

Oh, that one's easy! The story about how I met Mister J.

[Complete with dreamy flashback expression. She's gonna be lost in her own little world for a bit.]

I was a doctor at this place called Arkham. He was one a' the patients. Everyone thought he was a bad guy, but we talked a LOT an' I could tell he was just hurting, and wanted to make people laugh the way he did.

So one day I quit, an' took Mister J away from there, an' we been together ever since.

[Completely unbiased and unabridged. Really.]

[SUCH A CUTE STORY!]

And have you made people laugh...?

Oh, lotsa people! Course, there's also a lotta people who don't really get th' joke. 'Specially this one guy. ...He can be pretty scary, really.

[A moment of uncomfortable silence, teetering on the edge of self-awareness.]

But I know we still make things a lot more interesting for him, at least.

As long as you do your best it will be fine! I'm sure most people enjoy laughing and having fun!

I think he's some kinda ninja. Pops right outta nowhere ALL THE TIME.

Oh, a ninja's a guy that dresses all in black and can, like, appear straight outta th' shadows.

This guy dressed up like a big bat. ...Y'ask me, he had some serious mental health issues.

Oh... he does sound scary. Why would anyone dress as a bat and appear from the shadows...?
