[ The feed opens to.. the sky. If you look closely you might see the tip of a little cute red shoe somewhere on one side of the screen. Aside from that the device is just lying on the ground as if it were randomly discarded right there and then.

But there's sound too. Quite obvious sound, since it's the sound of a little girl crying quite loudly, to say the least. ]

Uu...! Uu-uu-uu!! Mama--! Where's Mama, uu-uu..!!

[ There's actually another view now instead of the sky - a Misdreavus is suddenly curiously looming over the device, slowly but surely taking up the camera's whole view. In the background the crying continues all the same. ]

Sagudaro--!! Uu-uu..!! Come back to Maria! Beato, Beato, uu-uu-uu-uu!!

[ The Misdreavus looms even closer to the camera, studying the device-- and then the feed ends. It probably accidentally turned it off. ]

...uryu-. [A pause. He remembers the first time he wanted to look for Maria when he showed up in Johto...] I think you might be in a place called New Bark Town.

[Rummaging through his own backpack, pulling out his own map and... turning it around sideways for awhile. FINDING YOU IS GOING TO BE FUN, MARIA.]

[ THE TWO MOST COMPETENT DERPS.. She has finally located her map and is squinting to see what's going on with it.

... Wait, which one of these dots is the town she's in. SHE HAS NO CLUE. ]

[Holds his map right side up now. There we go... he thinks he knows where to go! Everything is under control, Maria.]

I'm on my way now, Maria! Bringing two of my new friends also. They'll be happy to become your friend too.

[ Yes, there's a Misdreavus somewhere in the background of the feed, just floating there. And making faces at the camera. ]

[And he just starts giggling at the Misdreavus.]

It's making funny faces! Uryuu!

[ She turns around to look at it before giggling as well. ]

Name..? Uu, hasn't told Maria yet. Only says Mis.. something.. [ MISDREAVUS IS TOO HARD FOR LITTLE GIRLS TO HEAR. ]

Mis... Mis? Uryu-? [Tilts his head curiously. He doesn't know it either! But omg, he'll eagerly show off his new friends too.]

[ Maria is practically squealing uu-s at the sight of the cute puppy. ]

Uu, perfect for Sakutaro! A cute puppy friend, uu-! ... His name is a little bit hard for Sakutaro to say though, right?

Uryuu. I, it's not that hard! Still a lion cub, but I'm getting better at it...

[Then an even smaller pokemon, a little pink Happiny totters up next to the Growlithe.]

And this one's name is Sakura.

It's okay. Sakutaro is still a lion cub, so you don't have to be able to say it yet, uu-.
