[ The feed opens to.. the sky. If you look closely you might see the tip of a little cute red shoe somewhere on one side of the screen. Aside from that the device is just lying on the ground as if it were randomly discarded right there and then.
But there's sound too. Quite obvious sound, since it's the sound of a little girl crying quite loudly, to say the least. ]
Uu...! Uu-uu-uu!! Mama--! Where's Mama, uu-uu..!!
[ There's actually another view now instead of the sky - a Misdreavus is suddenly curiously looming over the device, slowly but surely taking up the camera's whole view. In the background the crying continues all the same. ]
Sagudaro--!! Uu-uu..!! Come back to Maria! Beato, Beato, uu-uu-uu-uu!!
[ The Misdreavus looms even closer to the camera, studying the device-- and then the feed ends. It probably accidentally turned it off. ]

Protect Maria? [ Now she's turning around to glimpse at the Pokémon. ] Really? That means we can become good friends, right? Nice to meet you, Pokémon-san, uu-!

[It really wasn't hard to smile happily and softly at the way Maria perked up so easily. She really was the same little girl that was in her memories.]
That's right. Your pokemon will always protect you. As long as you treat her well, then you have nothing to worry about.

Maria wants to make as many friends as possible. So when Mama comes she can see how much of a good girl Maria has been.
